SLNG runs in regions around the world, and each one has its own base URL. A region runs the full stack, so a region selection covers the whole request path and audio never leaves the region mid-pipeline. For why that matters, see Regions. Each map card shows the services on that regional endpoint. Agents use a separate endpoint and their own region codes, so the Agents icon stays dim on this map.

Regions and base URLs

Every listed endpoint supports text to speech and speech to text. Call its base URL to target a region. Each region has its own endpoint, and requests are not routed between regions. Available models differ by region, so see models by region before you pick one.
